(1) This work here is not finished yet. Can you guess what they would be?


They are some parts of Naef's blocks made of origami. Can you guess what they would be??
The large one is almost completed; I have to add another piece of paper to finish it. The small ones, which contains six same pieces on your right-hand and another one in front, are assembled together.
They are going to be a figure of Naef's blocks, but the color is different from the original ones.
To complete the set of blocks, I need more parts in different colors.

This is also a figure of Naef's blocks. As you see, this is not an origami work. The figure appears when the black paper is completely open. What you see now is the inside paper of the figure.

On November, someone advised me to make several blocks for Christmas tree ornaments. I am not a Christian, and I have never decorated the Christmas tree. It sounded very hard work to do it.

Instead I made a display shelf using ten triangles, which I found in
Makoto Yamaguchi's book.

I first thought I put a door on every triangle, and open it every day like the Advent calendar.
But I was too busy to make all ten ornament on November.
So I tried to place an ornament every two or three days on December.

Do you think I can complete this shelf until Christmas?


Here are the ornament I made.
I designed each one inspired by Naef's blocks.
Can you imagine what blocks they are?
